Success is Boring

I have been blessed with several successful mentors in my life who have been willing to pour themselves into me.  Everyone of them I’ve ever have hammered the following point home

“If you want to have success you have go to embrace the grind.  Have the self-discipline to energetically work your processes over and over and over.”

My most influential mentor still reminds me that he was a 20-year overnight success!

Achieving meaningful goals involves persistent, repetitive, and often mundane work, not constant excitement or grand gestures. It is consistent effort—working out, eating right, saving _%/month, follow-up texts, working  processes over and over—is the foundation of lasting breakthroughs and true mastery.  The process IS slow and unglamorous.  These boring tasks are so often the key to success, as it builds momentum and allows for significant progress over time.

For Referrals Group members it really comes down to a few things:
1- Show up   Nothing matters more than consistent attendance.  85% matters.
don’t schedule over or around it.  Honor your other members by being present & prepared

2- Face-to-Face meetings
Keep this simple.  Do at least 1 between each meeting.  These meetings should balance personal and business.  Get to know people on a personal level, but also dive deep and know their goals, target market, specific targets, COI introductions, and TAKE SHOTS to help them out

3- Take shots to help others
-what goes around comes around.  Help others and they will help you in return

 4- Have good meetings
-even if you aren’t an officer you help BIG TIME by having a great attitude, being prepared, setting up f-2-f meetings, greeting guests, & just generally being engaged.
the groups that run the best meetings often pass the most referrals, have the most guests

5- Have a great attitude
-I will take someone with a great attitude who is willing to learn and invest in others (and themselves) over the most talented person in the world who doesn’t want to work the process.

Success is Boring…other points
Repetitive Tasks:   Building anything requires the consistent execution of simple, repetitive actions that might not be thrilling but are crucial for progress.
Small, Incremental Steps:  Success isn’t a series of big leaps but rather a culmination of tiny, consistent decisions and actions that happen daily.
Discipline Over Excitement:  The reality of success is less about finding the next exciting challenge and more about having the discipline to do what you know you should do, even when it’s uninspiring.
Don’t wait to feel motivated take action first, as the feeling of accomplishment often follows

Awesome doesn’t happen by accident…..go make it happen
