-“I get to vs I have to”,   View things as an opportunity vs a obligation

-Much easier to educate a “doer” than to activate a  “thinker”
-If you don’t know why it is working you won’t know how to fix it when it fails.
-Good manners don’t cost anything.
-Always ask. They can only say no.
-Accountability will be one of your biggest weaknesses. Get better at it ASAP!
-Find the good in everybody.
– Don’t cry before you try.
-There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
-You can’t control what others do, only your own reactions.
-You will have some great coaches in your life and some who have no business being in that position. But you can learn something from all of them, even if that means learning how you DON’T want to be as a coach someday.
-You shouldn’t have to feel 💯 to give 💯. You better develop some toughness.
-Remember that things don’t make you happy, people do.
-Watch what you step in.
-What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.
-Fair? The fair is two weeks in the fall.
-The grass is greener where you water it.  (*One of my Mom’s favorite sayings!)
