4 Tips as we enter the fall

1- Goal on referrals….3 way text is king!
Referral close %’s by how we connect:
text:  53% *put them on a 3 way text
email:  37%
phone:  22%
other/social:  12%
*if box is check “No” on permission to contact 7%
2- Get more aggressive in inviting
-Fall is typically a big guest time frame.  People start planning ahead for next year or trying to close out this year
-at each meeting:  spend 2-3 mintues getting invites out.
Recruitment chairs:  send out the invite text to members.  Brainstorm a few spots (don’t discuss the person here)…and get some invites out.
Remember guests are oppportunities for us to meet some new and expand our network.  Get to know your guests by taking an interest in them, setting up a face-to-face meeting, and if they like it…invite them back
3- Log your spinoff referrals  (referral from a referral)
Sometimes members forget to log spinoff referrals, which is just a referral from a referral.
Example:
An insurance agent in one of our groups recently tagged along with the mortgage lender in their group to an event where other realtors/lenders where present.  They introduced the insurance agent around and he ended up with 3 coffee meetings.  Those w3 coffee meetings were correctly logged as 3 COI (center of influence) referralss.
They don’t happen if the lender doesn’t:
A-invite them to tag along with them and
B- more importantly setup some introductions while they are there
Then….the spinoffs occured.  2 of the lenders (COI intros) started sending referrals to the insurance agent.  Every one of those referrals is a spinoff referral sourced back to the person who setup the COI introduction.
*note:  only the referral receipent can log a spinoff, because the sender probably doesn’t know it happened.
4- Do something focused post meeting
block 30 minutes post meeting to:
-write google reviews (or other) for each other.
-get out a bunch of guest invites (3-4/member).  It’ll work!
-setup some COI introductions
